The DAN (Divers Alert Network) oxygen provider course will give you the training needed to successfully and correctly administer oxygen to victims of SCUBA diving and other types of medical emergencies. It is acknowledged by all medical personnel that the early use of oxygen can contribute greatly to the successful outcome of medical emergencies.
The cost of this course is $115 and plus and additional $25 for all books and materials.
The DAN Oxygen Provider Course, although offered as a separate course, should be coupled with a CPR/First Aid Course and then followed by a SCUBA Rescue Diver Course. These three courses will give you the training and knowledge necessary to save a life.
As with all courses we teach, the prevention of diving accidents and emergencies BEFORE they happen is emphasized as the key to safe diving. It is accepted and proven that the correct administration of oxygen to victims of DCS, AGE, CVA, and Heart Attacks can often make the difference between a full recovery or no recovery at all.
We urge you to take advantage of this training; it could literally be the difference between life and death.
